Estimates vs official results
Each of these calculators states its method. The UCAS calculator uses the official Tariff and gives exact totals. The ATAR calculator uses VTAC’s latest published scaling, so it is an estimate until this year’s scaling is released. SAT and AP conversions change with each test form or year, so those tools give a predicted range. Official results always come from the testing body or admissions centre.
